Achievement of Citizenship

The sun outside the window was so bright, but not as brilliant as the smiles on Baishan International students' faces as the second "Hour of Honor" assembly arrived!

First, the students in Grade 7, Class 2 sang a beautiful rendition of the song "Shallow" from the movieA Star is Born. This complicated song combines a variety of musical elements which allowed the students, with Ms. Charla's guidance, to  show great commitment and enthusiasm.

After the first song, Grade 7, Class 2 representatives Zhang Mengjia and Chen Junyi shared their experiences from QAIS International Day, after which Grade 1 students performed a song appropriately called "Beautiful Day" .

It was then Grade 2 students' turn to perform a song with great emotion. The song illustrated content of the trans-disciplinary unit "Who We Are" and the audience was very touched by the performance.

The students in Grade 7, Class 2 performed the English story "Little Red Riding Hood". Their teacher, Miss Hazel Lee, pays attention to students' academic achievement as well as their abilities. With a few weeks' preparation and Miss Lee's direction, the students performed did very well on stage.

The final act of the day was the song "Individuality", which was sung by students in Grade 8, Class 2. The students selected the song in order to express their love for all their schoolmates.
