Qingdao Baishan School, the first private school in Shandong Province, was founded by Ms. Baishan Zhang in 1993, to foster the development of an internationally minded Chinese citizen. At its inception, Baishan School took the lead in developing international education in the local community by cooperating with an American English Association to teach English language alongside the Chinese National Curriculum.
