In the International Department of Upper Secondary, Baishan School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), a rigorous and globally recognized pre-university curriculum designed for students aged 16–19. The IBDP aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who are prepared to thrive in a rapidly changing, interconnected world. The IBDP curriculum is built around six subject groups—Studies in Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and the Arts—along with three core components: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). Together, these elements cultivate critical thinking, independent research skills, personal growth, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
